Technology integration coordinator
Keeps a finger on the pulse of EdTech and ensures implementation of the Edison Tech Plan--Reports to Principal
Ensure Plan Fidelity
- Manages plan implementation and coordinates with administration
- Collects evidence of completion documentation for activities
- Serves on the LSC Technology Committee and provides regular updates
- Coaches and supports classroom teachers in curriculum planning for tech integration and curriculum implementation
- Provides assistance with real-time problem solving in the classroom as able/needed
- Makes recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers concerning hardware and software options
- Maintain devices (initial setup, updates, management software maintenance)
- Supports teachers in managing school devices (syncing, student digital workflow)
- Coordinates with IT Network Support Tech(s) (volunteers to help us create and maintain infastructure)
- Maintains inventory of devices, peripherals, software purchased with Tech Plan funds
- Works with the professional development planning team to schedule and develop PD for Edison staff (implements PD as needed or recruits others to implement)

- Maintains relationships with CPS district EdTech Leaders
- Seeks out After-School offerings that provide exposure to more specialized and advanced tech skills
- Maintains personal expertise in EdTech through attending professional development and networking
Professional Learning community facilitator
Ensures that PLC groups run smoothly and that teachers are experiencing professional growth
- Collaborates with Members of PLC to set meeting schedule and ensure fidelity of implementation
- Leads the selection of PLC "new learning" resources
- Maintains meeting minutes for each PLC session
- Fosters group accountability for each PLC member's transfer points (SMART goal for what they will implement by the next meeting)
- Creates portfolios that demonstrate each group members growth throughout the year
- Provide teacher learning updates and evidence to the Technology Integration Coordinator
- Reports any issues blocking teacher technology implementation to the Technology Implementation Coordinator
After school technology Teachers
Plan and deliver after school technology experiences that give students a competitive edge
- Develop technology-centered after school offerings for students
- Implement technology-centered after school offerings for students
- Provide student learning updates and evidence to the Technology Integration Coordinator
Technology-integrated Curriculum Authors
Teachers will create tech-integrated units over the summer before their students get 1:1 devices
